Antenna attitude sensor installation method

The antenna attitude sensor is also a kind of RET equipment. The theoretical installation and networking method should be the same as that of the RCU, but it is slightly different. The main reason is that the antenna attitude sensor is an auxiliary device and is installed after the installation. The convenience of construction must be considered. The normal coverage of the network cannot be affected. According to the actual situation of LTE network deployment, we can divide the antenna attitude sensor installation methods into three different scenarios.


1. RET equipment has been installed on the existing network


This is simple. Since the RET device and the antenna attitude sensor are relatively close, it is recommended that the antenna attitude sensor be directly cascaded behind the RET device through the AISG cable.


2. There is no RET device installed on the existing network, but the RRU is very close to the antenna


Since the RRU and the antenna attitude sensor are relatively close, it is recommended that the antenna attitude sensor be directly cascaded on the RRU through the AISG cable.


3. There is no RET device installed on the existing network, but the RRU is far from the antenna


This situation is more complicated. Since the RRU and the antenna attitude sensor are relatively far away, the feasibility of cascading directly on the RRU through the AISG cable is very low. According to the traditional method, the RF cable is used for feeding and OOK communication through the Bias Tee. , Since the SBT is connected in series on the radio frequency cable, if we add SBT to a site running on an existing network, the network must be disconnected. This is impossible to allow, so the SBT solution is not feasible. In order to solve this application scenario, we propose a A wireless IoT networking solution.



The system is mainly composed of antenna attitude sensor and centralized collector.


Antenna attitude sensor: responsible for collecting the raw data of various sensors, and calculating the antenna attitude through related algorithms. It is mounted above the antenna, powered by solar energy, and communicates with the centralized collector through a wireless data transmission module.


Centralized collector: responsible for protocol conversion, converting private protocols into AISG protocols. Use AISG cable to connect with RRU, AISG power supply, communicate with RRU through AISG-ES-RAE v2.1.0 protocol. At the same time, it provides a local interface to query and set the antenna attitude sensor.


The advantage of this solution is that the AISG cable is replaced by wireless communication and solar power supply. The centralized collector connects the antenna attitude sensor to the existing OSS through protocol conversion. The OSS operation is no different from the previous two scenarios. Influence, while avoiding the pain of pulling the wire.
